    After graduating dental school from the prestigious University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, Dr. Kowthemi returned to her hometown of Toronto, Ontario and has been practicing here since 2015. She received her Invisalign certification whilst in San Francisco and has also completed a 2 year post-graduate course in Orthodontics. She is a board certified dentist in both the United States and Canada.

    Apart from private practice, Dr. Kowthemi is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and Courtesy Staff at Unity Health Toronto.

    Dr. Kowthemi is an exemplary professional, driven by a deep commitment to providing top-notch care and ensuring her patients attain the highest level of oral health. Her gentle and compassionate approach has earned her a reputation for creating a welcoming and relaxed dental experience for everyone under her care.

    During her free time, she maintains her passion for lifelong dental learning by actively pursuing continuing dental education. Besides that, she loves to explore new places through traveling, experiment with different recipes in the kitchen, and cherishes valuable moments with her beloved family and friends.

    Dr. Kowthemi is the co-owner of Clanton Park Dental, along with her sister, Dr. Visaki. With a combined 16 years experience working as dentists in the GTA, they are both looking forward to continually providing optimal dental care, catered to each patient’s specific needs.

    Firstly, I appreciated how they assisted both me and my mom during our visit yesterday, and even gave us freebies after the cleaning. Secondly, their warm accommodation and quick responses say a lot about how they carefully treat their patients—one at a time, with attention and care. Lastly, they really guide you throughout the process. Special thanks to Ate J., one of the staff (sorry, I didn’t catch her full name, but Ate will definitely help you through it all!).

    I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. From the moment you walk in, you feel the warm and friendly environment. The staffs are incredibly welcoming. The dentists are knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this clinic!

    The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The dentist was very thorough and explained my treatment options well, the procedure was quick and painless. The office was clean and comfortable, I felt relaxed and at ease during my appointment, highly recommended.

    I did my practicum here at Clanton Park Dental, It was such a great learning environment. Dr Kowthemi and Dr. Visaki are such great and caring Dental professionals along with their entire team. They treat their patients and staff with great respect and care. They give patients choices of treatments with the best course possible to save teeth, and prevent infections without you worrying about how much it will cost you. Overall, Clanton Park Dental really gave me the best example on how a Dental clinic should be. as a student they really made me feel like I was a part of their team.
