Highly recommended. Thank you Dr. kowthemi for your recommendation and understand about my situations, requiring root canal but I am travelling back to my home country soon, you even searched the specialist that could do root canal. You prescribe me antibiotics for temporary relief the toothache, and it worked. Thanks you Rully

Dr. Kowthemi is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to! She’s super skilled, explains everything in a way that actually makes sense, and somehow manages to make going to the dentist not terrifying. The office is spotless, the staff is awesome, and I swear they run on some magical schedule because I’ve never waited long. Plus, Dr. Kowthemi has this calming energy that makes you forget she’s, you know, drilling your teeth. If you’re looking for a dentist who’s amazing at what she does and won’t scare you away from appointments, she’s the one!

For a beautiful smile and a healthy lifestyle

Straight teeth don’t just look great—they play a crucial role in preventing costly dental and medical issues. While crooked teeth might not seem like a big deal, proper alignment is essential for your teeth to function correctly and last a lifetime.

Did you know nearly 9 out of 10 people experience at least mild crowding or misalignment? This can lead to:

  • Chipped or lost teeth
  • Food trapping between teeth
  • Difficulty flossing and cleaning
  • Increased risk of cavities
  • Gum disease, which is linked to systemic health issues like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, arthritis, and stroke

If you’re experiencing any of these concerns, it’s time to schedule an evaluation. Let us help you achieve a healthy smile that supports your overall well-being!

When is a good time to start?

If you’ve been considering straightening your teeth—or your dentist has recently recommended it—there’s no better time than now. Waiting only increases the risk of dissatisfaction, potential damage like broken teeth, or health complications. Remember, teeth naturally shift over time.

In a few years, misalignment may worsen, requiring longer and potentially costlier treatment. Straightening your teeth now is easier, faster, and more affordable than addressing severe misalignment later.

Don’t let cost hold you back—treatment is affordable, and payment plans are available. Contact us to explore your options and take the first step toward a healthier, more confident smile!

What can you expect once you start your treatment?

Our goal is to help you achieve a beautiful smile and better overall health by starting with a strong foundation. Straightening your teeth ensures proper alignment, improved function, and long-term oral health. And remember—you’re never too old to benefit from straighter teeth!

Your treatment plan

The journey begins with precise digital scans of your teeth to create a custom treatment plan. Using Invisalign’s advanced software, we can predict your teeth’s gradual transformation and even show you a preview of your final smile. Once the plan is finalized, your custom aligners are crafted using Invisalign’s state-of-the-art technology.

The first aligners

When your aligners arrive, small, mostly invisible fasteners may be temporarily bonded to your teeth to help secure the aligners in place. These fasteners are removed at the end of your treatment, leaving nothing but a perfect smile.

Follow-up appointments

Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, gently shifting your teeth into their proper position. You’ll transition through a series of aligners until your smile is complete. Follow-up visits are scheduled every 1-2 months to monitor progress and ensure the treatment stays on track.

Contact us today

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Cost of Invisalign in North York

Invisalign treatment typically costs between $3,000 and $5,000+ out-of-pocket with insurance. Without insurance, the cost usually ranges from $4,000 to $6,000+. After an oral exam, we can provide an accurate quote to help you understand what your insurance will cover and what your out-of-pocket expenses will be.

Why does Invisalign seem so expensive?

The cost of Invisalign depends on several factors, including:

  • The current condition of your oral health
  • The degree of tooth movement required
  • The length of your treatment

Since every smile is unique, a consultation is essential to determine whether Invisalign is the right option for you and to develop a customized plan that meets your goals. Whether you’re concerned about age or have ambitious smile goals, it’s worth exploring your options—there’s often a solution available for your needs.

Personalized solutions for every smile
From simple, express cases to advanced functional and cosmetic treatments, we tailor plans to fit each patient. In rare cases where additional expertise is needed, we’ll refer you to a trusted specialist to ensure you receive the best care.

Don’t let crooked teeth impact your confidence or health. Book a consultation today and take the first step toward a straighter, healthier smile!

Frequently Asked Questions

Invisalign offers a more comfortable and discreet alternative to braces. The clear, custom-fit trays are barely noticeable, so most people won’t even realize you’re wearing them. They can also be removed for special occasions like presentations or dates. Unlike braces, Invisalign trays are smooth and don’t irritate the inside of your mouth. If they do rub against your gums, adjustments can be made quickly. By applying gentle pressure and shifting only a few teeth at a time, Invisalign is generally more comfortable than traditional braces.

Invisalign works gradually to shift your teeth, making the process as comfortable as possible. Minor adjustments happen within weeks, while more significant changes take longer to ensure comfort. Some mild discomfort is normal, but if you experience significant pain, contact us so we can address it.

The duration of Invisalign treatment typically ranges from six to twelve months, depending on the complexity of your case. Most people start noticing changes within the first six weeks of wearing aligners. The more adjustments your teeth require, the longer the treatment will take, similar to other orthodontic options.

To keep your aligners clean and effective, remove them twice daily to clean both the trays and your teeth. Always rinse your aligners before reinserting them, especially after meals. Avoid leaving them exposed to air, as this can compromise their hygiene. For deeper cleaning, you can soak the aligners in denture cleaner or Invisalign cleaning crystals. However, avoid using toothpaste, as it can scratch the material. You should not eat or drink with the trays in, as this could damage them.

Eating with Invisalign aligners in is not recommended. The chewing forces can damage or crack the trays, and eating with them in place can be messy and uncomfortable. Always remove your aligners before meals to keep them in good condition.

Yes, you should wear Invisalign while you sleep. For the aligners to be effective, they need to be worn day and night, except during meals or when drinking. Consistent wear ensures your teeth continue to shift into the correct position over time.

Invisalign is designed to be a seamless part of your daily routine, providing a comfortable and discreet path to a healthier, straighter smile.
