Janet was born in the Philippines and earned a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree while there. Upon her arrival in Canada in 2010, she pursued her education at Medix College in Toronto, and obtained a degree in Dental Assisting. She excels at fostering meaningful connections and takes pleasure in alleviating patient anxiety, ensuring their comfort during dental procedures. She is excited to be an integral part of the dental office team, eager to both learn and make valuable contributions. Beyond the workplace, Janet relishes spending quality time with her husband and two kids especially in the kitchen, where they enjoy cooking and baking together. Additionally, she cherishes their outings, which provide her with memorable moments to treasure.

Dr. Kowthemi is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to! She’s super skilled, explains everything in a way that actually makes sense, and somehow manages to make going to the dentist not terrifying. The office is spotless, the staff is awesome, and I swear they run on some magical schedule because I’ve never waited long. Plus, Dr. Kowthemi has this calming energy that makes you forget she’s, you know, drilling your teeth. If you’re looking for a dentist who’s amazing at what she does and won’t scare you away from appointments, she’s the one!

I came there today for tooth extraction my experience is greatly awesome. All the staff are accomodating and friendly. Dr. K did a great job for me she is very professional and I dont feel pain at all. Her hands are very lightweight and I feel relax through the entire surgery. She patiently explains everything about the condition of my teeth. Thanks Clanton Park Dental☺️
